What are your charges ?

- No, we do not charge anything for listing your product.
Can I pay advance to seller?

- We would strongly recommend not to pay in advance. If you must pay something to have the seller hold the product for you, ensure it is a small & insignificant amount.
  
  Advance payment is the most common technique adopted by fraud sellers to trick buyers and pursue them to make upfront payments for goods, services, etc.
What can be advance payment frauds ?

- ## Too good to be true and irresistible offers
  
  ## Token money demands without meeting in person/physically checking the product
  
  ## Posing as people from trustworthy & noble professions like Army Personnel, Doctors, NGOs, Public services, etc.
  
  ## Showcase of absolute urgency to sell the item or an emotional appealg. family member is sick and urgent need of money for operation, payment of school fees, etc.
  
  ## Job guarantee offers and employment schemes requesting an advance fee to secure the job or obtain the materials to perform the job or involving money transfer.
  
  ## Advance fees to cover any processing charges, pay duty, taxes, courier fees, shipment and conversion charges, etc.
Points to remember while checking a product?

- As a buyer it is important to verify your product before making a purchase!
  Things to remember: -
  
  Product inspection: Physically examine the product. Check for any damage or defects.
  
  Working condition: For any gadgets, switch on to see they’re functional.
  
  Product Age: Cross check the age of the product by asking for the original bill/receipt from the seller
  
  Proofs: Insist on warranty card, receipt, box or slips.
  
  Ad relevance: Ensure that the product matches the description of the Ad.
  
  Fake products: Beware of any replica products i.e such as clone, first copy.
  
  Accessories: Remember to ask for all related accessories from the seller.
Where should I meet the seller?

- It is important that you meet the seller at a safe place. A few basics to follow so that you deal safely and hassle-free:
  Public Places: Meet the seller at secure & public location such as Malls, Offices, Restaurants, and Coffee Shops, etc. where there are enough people around. Do not travel to far-away places or meet at isolated places / localities that you are not aware of.
  
  Switching Places: Beware of a seller who changes location(s) and asks you to reach a different destination than already decided.
  
  Have company: Also, try to have someone accompany you 😊 to close the deal!
How many listing can I post in a month?

- You can post 30 listings in a month for free.
Can I share my listing with my friends?

- Yes you can share the URL of your listing page to your friends, family and collegues. But you are not allowed to SPAM others. Otherwise your account will be disabled.
How do I get maximum replies?

- To get good responses for your Ad, please ensure the below: -
  A comprehensive description: Mention the relevant Ad details such as title/description and ensure to provide complete information such as item specification, size, shape, colour, design, etc.
  
  Clear resolution photograph(s): Always upload a clear image showing the item properly. Please ensure that the image is original and reflects the item as described. Do not include any stock or human image.
  
  Competitive pricing: Please ensure to keep realistic pricing for your Ad. It should reflect the market value of the item and correspond to actual item condition.
  
  Appropriate category: Ensure to post the Ad in relevant category. E.g. post mobile phone in mobiles and not electronics.
How do I know if people are seeing my listing?

- On listing page, you can see 'views' written next to price, mentioning the number of times your listing is viewed.
When does my listing ends?

- Your listing will remain active until you close it down.
How can I increase the limit of listings that can be posted?

Why did my listing got rejected?

- Firstly, we apologize for any inconvenience faced due to this.
  
  To ensure good user experience for both Buyer & Sellers, we keep monitoring the Ads on the platform. Following could be some of the potential reasons why your ad did not go live:-
  
  Ban Reason: Forbidden Products
  
  There are products that BoastCoast does not allow since it may violate the Law or BoastCoast policies. Sellers need to comply with items considered legal or valid for sale in India.
  
  Ban Reason: Invalid price
  
  To avoid false pricing on the platform and safeguard buying experience for Buyers on BoastCoast, we only allow ads that have a realistic/reasonable price for the item being sold. Setting an appropriate price for your item helps relevant buyers t discover your item and contact you to make a deal.
  
  Ban Reason: Bad Title
  
  While posting an Ad please ensure that you keep the title to the point and related to the item. Do not use any profane words, phone numbers or special characters in the title.
  
  Ban Reason: Bad Description
  
  Your Ad should contain all relevant information about the product or service you are offering such as functionality, specifications, measurement, colour, age utility etc. Please note offensive words, religious bias, slandering, phone number (only in case it is different from registered mobile numbers) is not allowed and Ad will be rejected.
  
  Ban Reason: Duplicate Ad
  
  Your Ad could be rejected if the title, description or image of your Ad matches with another Ad posted in the same city.
  
  Ban Reason: Suspicious Ad
  
  These are services or products that we do not allow on BoastCoast for legal or ethical reasons.
  
  Ban Reason: Invalid mage
  
  It is important that you post Ads with appropriate images. Make sure that the images are real, clear and of good resolution. Additionally, please note that it should not be a stock image, contain any phone number, obscene picture or human images.

  2. Adoption of Children & Babies
  3. Ads for buying products/services like "Looking for iPhone", "Looking for a rental house" etc. Please look at the ads posted on BoastCoast and contact the sellers.
  4. Adult/Sexually Oriented/Pornographic Material” or "Child pornographic material.
  5. Advance bookings or Products which are yet to be launched or pre-orders except for traveling and lodging.
  6. Advance fees, registration fees or payment, etc.
  7. Alcohol, E-cigarette, and Tobacco Products.
  8. Allopathic medicine. Any kind of new or used medicine.
  9. Any animal under the pets category as defined under the prevention of cruelty to animals (Pet Shop) Rules, 2018 or any other kind of live animal.
  10. Any kind of animal body part of animal skin and bone or any product made of such material.
  11. Astrology or any kind of spiritual/supernatural services/remedies like (black magic, Vashikaran, love spells/problems/jadu/ Vashikaran). Any services where facts are not public and can’t be scientifically ascertained in general.
  12. Blogging or any discussion or information published on the Internet.
  13. Brand new phones/newly launched/recently purchased without a bill, Jio Phones, etc.
  14. Burglary Tools
  15. Charity or voluntary giving of help or products for free.
  16. Chemicals i.e. “Hazardous Chemicals, Pharmaceutical products (prescribed or not), Restricted, Perishable Items”, and “Radioactive materials & substances”
  17. Child labor or Slavery i.e. Any services which fall within the ambit of child welfare laws of the country.
  18. Counterfeit Products/Clones, Replicas or demo sets.
  19. Crypto-currency (e.x. Bitcoin, Litecoin, bitcoin mining rigs & affiliated services/products).
  20. Cylinders and Products without the approval and registration of government agencies such as CNG, Pepper Spray, LPG.
  21. Oxygen Cylinders/Concentrators.
  22. Database - Selling of user database or leads or sale of any information duly collected from the customers which can benefit others knowingly or unknowingly.
  23. Dating services for people looking for relationship, dating, and/or friendship
  24. Direct admissions to colleges/universities/reputed institutes through management quota or donations.
  25. Discriminating on the basis of race, caste, religion, or creed mentioning in ads.
  26. Education certificates(fake) for High school diplomas, university, medals, etc.
  27. Escort Services or adult (cross-gender) massage.
  28. Firecrackers, Explosives and Explosive Substances
  29. Foreign exchange including collecting and effecting/remitting payments directly /indirectly outside India in any form towards overseas foreign exchange trading through electronic/internet trading portals.
  30. Free services of any kind with no clearly defined benefits.
  31. Government IDs and Licenses Services.

  35. Guaranteed services for approval and acceptance of government documents or IDs (Aadhar card, PAN, Passport, Visa, etc.)
  36. Hellevator scheme- Matrix sites or sites using a matrix scheme approach
  37. Human, Blood, Bodily Fluids, Human Parts, and Remains
  38. Illegal Goods/Embargoed Goods/Contraband goods
  39. Indian currency notes – Old, New, or Error notes. Coins considered legal tender.
  40. Hacking/piracy- Devices infringing intellectual property rights such as unlocking devices which include Mod chips or other devices designed to circumvent copyright protection
  41. IPR media violation- Media infringing intellectual property rights, which includes unauthorized copies of books, music, movies, and other licensed or protected materials
  42. IPR software violation- Software infringing intellectual property rights, which includes unauthorized copies of the software, video games, and other licensed or protected materials, including OEM or bundled software
  43. Ivory products
  44. iCloud unlocking services: BoastCoast doesn't allow iCloud unlocking services on the platform.
  45. Items that hurt the Laws for the Protection of Historical, Artistic, and Cultural significance
  46. Loans offered by private parties or institutions not authorized and regulated as per RBI guidelines.
  47. Luxury items with unrealistic pricing/not corresponding to market pricing.
  48. Medical Equipment requiring licenses (such as Ultrasound machines, X-Ray Machines, etc).
  49. Medicines prescribe as prescription-strength medicine, aesthetic, steroids, & food supplements
  50. Miracle cures include unsubstantiated cures, remedies, or other items marketed as quick health fixes
  51. Multi-Level Marketing Services (MLM), SMS Sending, Email sending/processing, Champ cash, Network marketing jobs, and affiliated home-based jobs.
  52. Offensive goods, the crime that includes crime scene photos or items, such as personal belongings, associated with criminals
  53. Offensive Material - examples include ethnically or racially offensive material
  54. Photos of artists/singers/entertainers are not allowed unless with a permit
  55. Pirated Cable box descramblers and jail-broken/modified gaming consoles.
  56. Police, Army, Navy, and Airforce Related Items
  57. Political affiliations, admission, and blogging
  58. Software & movie piracy, software to unlock phones/video games or Stocks, and Other Securities
  59. Stocks, shares, and other securities intangible in nature

  61. The government has declared face masks and hand sanitizers as essential commodities under the 'Essential Commodities Act, 1955' up to June 30, 2020. This is to ensure price regulation and availability of these products. BoastCoast supports this move and only allows these products at a regulated price.
  62. Tickets/vouchers/passes for many events, games, matches or concerts, lottery tickets, sweepstakes entries, subscriptions, etc.
  63. Traffic devices, which include radar detectors/hammers, license plate covers, traffic signal changers /sensors, and related products.
  64. Transfer of membership/subscription/certificates/timeshare etc.
  65. Transfer or selling license for pharmacy or liquor shop or any such institution which is controlled by the government
  66. Used Cosmetics, undergarments, personal hygiene & grooming items (e.g. epilators, shavers, etc). However, used Used Nebulizer is allowed if it is in good condition.
  67. Unauthorized wireless transceiver apparatus.
  68. Mobile signal boosters.
  69. Weapons, Air guns, artillery including arms, any type of edged tools resulting in affliction including daggers, swords, serrated objects, knives, and similar items.
  70. Covid Antigen Kits

How can I report a seller or a listing?
